Six loads, such as water pump, fridge, fan, lights, heater and awning, connect to one device that switches, protects, measures and dims each of them individually. Instead of swapping blown fuses, you set values. Instead of crawling to the fuse box, you tap your phone. What each output draws, you see live in the dashboard or on the SmartKnob. You operate it just as flexibly: from a wall switch, the SmartKnob or the dashboard. Your wall buttons switch directly on Ampy. If it trips, you see it instantly in the dashboard, including the reason, and reset it with a single tap. No spare fuse in the glovebox, no screwdriver, no fuse box behind the bench. And because you pick the trip characteristic per load (fast, normal or slow), the water pump may draw a brief surge on start-up while the LED strip may not.

Strong enough for the big loads

24A continuous per output, up to 32A short-term, and 120A across all six outputs together. For the first time you know in black and white what the fridge draws, what the heater costs and where the battery really goes overnight. That is how you plan off-grid living instead of guessing. An adjustable under- and over-voltage protection per load also shields your battery from deep discharge and sensitive devices from voltage spikes.

Every output becomes what you need

In the dashboard you create a widget for each output and choose what is connected there: light, water pump, fridge, boiler, awning, pop-top roof and more. The widget then stands for the function itself, not for a technical power channel. Motors such as pop-top roof, awning or step run on two outputs with a direction lock. Ampy never allows both directions at once, because the interlock lives right inside the device. A short wizard guides you through setup. Afterwards you can rename or adjust any widget at any time, with no rebuild.

Switch and dim light without an extra device

Every output can not only switch light but also dim it, up to 5A per output. That covers reading lamps, kitchen and bathroom lights, spots and white LED strips. At the wall switch, a short press turns it on and off, holding makes it brighter or darker, and a double tap switches every light in the vehicle off. That is your goodnight switch with no extra wiring.

Operation without relearning

You operate Ampy however suits you: at a wall button or switch (one per output), on the SmartKnob or in the browser dashboard, where every device on the vehicle WiFi becomes a remote, with no app at all. Everything is equal and in sync. What happens at the button appears instantly in the dashboard and vice versa. Right on the device, a light per output shows the real state: blue means power is on, red means off. Even with a dead phone you see at once what is actually running.

Your wall buttons, straight on Ampy

Ampy is not a radio receiver that only works with a hub. Your wall buttons connect directly to Ampy, and all settings live in the device itself. That makes your installation robust: you switch and dim lights, water pump and fan right at the wall button, and fuses as well as under- and over-voltage protection always work inside Ampy. This even works without any setup: a freshly connected Ampy responds to its wall buttons straight away, handy for a first test during installation. The display, dashboard, automations and the double tap for all lights come via the SmartKnob.

With the heating element in your boiler, Ampy is deliberately cautious: if the SmartKnob stops responding while it heats, Ampy switches it off after 10 minutes and keeps it off until you deliberately reset the fuse. That way your boiler never heats unattended. This protection is stored in Ampy itself and is active again right after a power cut.

Protection that thinks ahead

Ampy monitors current, voltage and temperature at the same time and switches into a safe state in case of a fault. After a fault, the affected output stays off. If only Ampy loses power, it restores the last state of its outputs by itself once power is back, and your settings are preserved. A boiler heating element that Ampy has already locked stays off until you deliberately reset the fuse. And anyone who keeps resetting a fuse while the fault remains gets a short enforced pause. That way a real defect is not clicked away until something gets hot.

Safety to automotive standard

Ampy is developed to ISO 26262 up to ASIL B, the functional-safety standard by which airbags, ABS and electronic steering are built in cars. Put simply: it is not enough for a device to work normally. It must also be thought through and proven what happens when something fails. Picture two drivers: one hopes nothing goes wrong, the other already has a plan B for every fault. Ampy is the second one. If the main controller fails, an independent second watchdog takes over and brings all outputs into the safe state in a controlled way, like a co-pilot watching over the pilot. ASIL B is the safety level reached here, and the scale runs from A to D. The key semiconductors in the power and safety path are additionally AEC-Q100 automotive-qualified, built for hard continuous use in a vehicle. In this depth, that is the exception in camper accessories, not the rule.

Wired in minutes

The loads go into high-quality Phoenix lever terminals up to 4mm²: lever up, wire in, lever down, no tools needed. From a single white strip to full RGBWW ambient lighting, one device handles it all: switching, dimming, colour and white light from warm to cool, complete lighting scenes. You operate it from a wall push button, from the dial on the SmartKnob or in the browser dashboard, all equal and in sync, entirely local in the vehicle, with no cloud and no internet required. Your wall push buttons switch and dim directly on Lighty.

Dimming that others cannot do

Most dimmers give up at around 20%. Below that the light either cuts out or flickers. Lighty dims continuously from 0.1 to 100%, true to colour all the way down and smooth to the eye. That is what makes real night lighting possible, the finest evening mood and even a sunrise simulation in which the light rises gently out of the dark over several minutes. The drive stage is completely silent, with no whine even at low brightness, and flicker-free to 240fps, so there is no banding in photos or video.

One controller, any lighting concept

You assign the five independent channels freely: one RGBWW strip with full colour and white control, or up to five separate lights such as kitchen, bathroom, bed left, bed right and outside light, each on its own. Lighty adapts to your installation, not the other way round. You mount them wherever you need a switching point and pair them in the dashboard in about 20 seconds. A short or long press switches and dims your light. You can even assign a button to any other device in the system, for example the water pump at the sink or the inverter by the bed.
