Compatibility: battery, solar and inverters with Camper Jarvis
Battery, solar charge controller, DC-DC charger, inverter, shore power: this page shows which energy devices you can read and control with Camper Jarvis. The list shows what already works today and what we are working on right now. It keeps growing, because we are constantly adding new devices.
As of October 2026
How to read the list
- Supported: works today, you can use it straight away.
- Beta: already works, but we are still testing and extending it.
- In progress: the integration is being developed and cannot be used yet.
Most energy devices are read by Volty Pro. Volty Pro connects to your device through the manufacturer's data interface and sends the values wirelessly to the SmartKnob. There you see state of charge, solar yield and consumption together, even if your devices come from different manufacturers. More on this in Which devices Volty Pro can read.
Victron
| Manufacturer | Model/series | Status | Via | What works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Victron | MPPT solar charge controllers (BlueSolar, SmartSolar) with VE.Direct | Supported | Volty Pro (VE.Direct) | Solar power, daily yield, charging stage |
| Victron | SmartShunt, BMV-712 battery monitors | Supported | Volty Pro (VE.Direct) | State of charge, voltage, current, time remaining |
| Victron | Orion-Tr Smart, Orion XS DC-DC chargers | Supported | Volty Pro (VE.Direct) | Charging power while driving, with the Orion XS also the emergency charge of the starter battery |
| Victron | MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, MultiPlus-C, Quattro inverter/chargers | Supported | Volty Pro (VE.Bus) | Read values, choose the operating mode: on, off, charger only, inverter only |
| Victron | Phoenix Smart Charger IP43 | In progress | Volty Pro (VE.Direct) | The dashboard display is being built |
| Victron | Phoenix inverters with data cable | In progress | Volty Pro | On and off via the remote switch connector already works today, see below |
| Victron | Cerbo GX | In progress | Volty Pro | Next to a Cerbo GX, Volty Pro only reads along. Changing settings through both leads to conflicts. |
A short note on VE.Bus: Victron does not officially approve third-party devices for its large inverter/chargers. Volty Pro is designed so that nothing should go wrong, but you still use the VE.Bus port at your own risk.
Votronic
| Manufacturer | Model/series | Status | Via | What works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Votronic | VBCS Triple, battery-to-battery chargers, DC-DC chargers, solar charge controllers | Supported | Volty Pro (RJ12 cable) | Read values |
| Votronic | Shunt in the VBCS Triple | In progress | Volty Pro | This needs a new hardware version of Volty. |
| Votronic | MobilPOWER SMI inverters with data cable | In progress | Volty Pro | On and off via the remote switch connector already works today, see below |
Votronic tank level senders, for example the 15-50k, are not integrated. For your tanks, use the sensors from Fluidy.
Ective
| Manufacturer | Model/series | Status | Via | What works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ective | LC batteries with CAN, for example LC-S and NaC | Supported | Volty Pro (CAN, with the Victron VE.CAN to BMS Type A cable) | State of charge, voltage, current and further data from the BMS |
| Ective | CSI PA PRO inverter/charger | Supported | Volty Pro (CAN) | Read values and fault messages, on and off, limit the mains input current from 1 to 16A |
| Ective | DC-DC chargers and solar charge controllers with CAN | Supported | Volty Pro (CAN) | Read values |
| Ective | Triple (new generation) | In progress | Volty Pro | The integration is being developed |
With Ective, only devices with a CAN interface have a data connection. Models without an interface cannot be read.
EcoFlow
| Manufacturer | Model/series | Status | Via | What works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EcoFlow | Power Kit and Power Hub with EcoFlow Power Link | Beta | Volty Pro (CAN, dedicated connection cable) | Battery, solar, DC-DC charger and inverter as separate widgets, switch the outputs of the distribution panel, detect shore power |
Without the EcoFlow Power Link, the Power Kit does not share any data. Through EcoFlow, Volty Pro detects whether shore power is present. Only Switchy, however, detects swapped conductors or a missing protective earth.
Other batteries and BMS
| Manufacturer | Model/series | Status | Via | What works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bulltron | Lithium batteries | In progress | Volty Pro | Integration planned |
| Daly, JK, JBD | Smart BMS | In progress | Volty Pro | The integration is being developed |
Your battery is not on the list? You still get the important values: a battery monitor such as the Victron SmartShunt sits on the negative terminal and measures everything that flows in and out. Volty Pro reads it directly. How this fits together is explained in Monitor camper battery and solar.
Devices without a data interface, and shore power
| Manufacturer | Model/series | Status | Via | What works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| All manufacturers | Inverters with a remote switch connector (Remote On/Off) | Supported | Volty Pro (signal relay) | On and off from the dashboard and the SmartKnob |
| All manufacturers | 230V shore power connection | Supported | Switchy | Detect shore power, detect swapped live and neutral and a missing protective earth, automation when you plug in |
| All manufacturers | 230V devices up to 10A, for example a charger with Bluetooth only | Supported | Switchy | On and off |
| All manufacturers | 12V and 24V loads | Supported | Ampy | Switch, measure consumption per output, protect electronically |
How Switchy checks shore power is explained in What the AC input monitoring does. How Ampy measures your consumption is covered in Measuring power consumption with Ampy and planning off-grid time.
No guarantee is given for this information. The range of functions may differ depending on device generation, firmware and interface.
Your device is missing?
Then write to us using the contact form. Tell us the manufacturer and exact model name of all energy devices on board, that is battery, battery monitor, solar charge controller, DC-DC charger, mains charger and inverter. We will check which of them can be integrated.
