Easy control for every device

Easy control for every device

With Switchy, you can turn up to eight different devices or appliances—like lights, pumps, outlets, or the boiler—on and off individually, right from the SmartKnob or conveniently in the dashboard.

 For big and small appliances

 For big and small appliances

Whether it’s little lights or large appliances like a hot water boiler, Switchy handles both with ease. You can even control electric lifting beds—including those with 230V motors, which many people use.

Name your devices clearly

Name your devices clearly

Give each device its own name, such as “Kitchen Light,” “Bed Up,” or “Pump”—so you always know what you’re controlling.

Safety when on shore power

Safety when on shore power

Switchy automatically detects when you connect to campsite power. It can automatically and smartly turn things like your hot water boiler on or off—no worries needed.

All-round protection for people & equipment

All-round protection for people & equipment

If you ever connect something incorrectly or if there are problems with the campsite’s power, Switchy instantly warns you on the SmartKnob and dashboard—and safely shuts off all important devices.

Easy installation for everyone

Easy installation for everyone

All wires are connected with clever, tool-free push connectors—no crimping, no cable chaos, and super easy to set up.

 Effortless pairing

 Effortless pairing

Switchy pairs with the SmartKnob in seconds. The display, lights, and sound instantly confirm when everything’s ready.

Everything in view, every time

Everything in view, every time

See the switching state and safety status of all devices in real time on your dashboard—so you’re always in control, with no extra app needed.

Extras for your lifting bed

Extras for your lifting bed

Effortlessly move your lift or slide-out bed with the SmartKnob. Two contacts can be used as end stops—making sure your bed moves safely and gently up and down.

Smart energy savings

Smart energy savings

Switchy uses very little electricity, no matter how many devices you manage—extra efficient thanks to a special power-saving design.

Always safe & certified

Always safe & certified

Switchy protects itself from electrical faults, overheating, or reverse polarity. It’s fully tested and meets strict EU safety standards.

Switchy – Technical Features and Details for Professionals

Relay and Switching Functions

  • Four dedicated DC relays (each up to 40 A continuous load, individually controllable, NO/NC/COM terminals).

  • Four dedicated AC relays (each up to 3500 W at 230V~ or 15 A DC, individually controllable, AC side galvanically isolated, NO/NC/COM terminals).

  • All relays can be named individually in the dashboard.

  • Efficient relay control: Relays are engaged with maximum initial current, then switched to PWM holding current for minimal energy use.

  • Weight: 453g.

  • Switching speed: a few milliseconds.

Grid Monitoring and Protection Functions

  • Integrated AC-check input for L, N, PE (galvanically isolated).

  • Detects wiring errors (L/N swapped, protective ground errors) as found with Schuko shore power or inadequately designed campground sockets.

  • Automatic shore power detection, e.g., to enable/disable loads like boiler or A/C automatically—user configurable in the dashboard.

  • Errors are indicated with warnings on the Smartknob and dashboard; in critical cases, all AC relays are automatically disabled.

Advanced Motor Control

  • Direct control of electric lifting beds and other motors (230V AC, e.g., roller shutter motors, and 12/24V DC motors).

  • Two inputs for end position detection (e.g., reed switches).

  • Motor protection logic: With lifting bed motors, simultaneous actuation of both directions is electronically prevented.

Expandability

  • RJ45 port for expansion with “Switchy Extend” (future relay module). Communication and power run fully through the network cable, with no further wiring or configuration needed.

Integration, Installation & Pairing

  • Simple, tool-free wiring of all inputs and outputs via spring terminals (no crimping required).

  • Easy pairing with the Smartknob, feedback via LED and sound, status visible in the dashboard.

  • Real-time data transmission, logging, and relay state statistics directly in the dashboard.

Power Consumption & Efficiency

  • Standby consumption < 0.1 W; normal operation 0.8 W; max 3 W with all relays activated.

  • Reliable wireless connection to the Smartknob up to 15 m distance.

  • Silent and maintenance-free.

Alerting & Diagnostics

  • Intelligent self-diagnosis: Automatic notification for communication faults, connection problems, or relay failure, with self-healing.

  • Real-time warnings and error logging in the dashboard.

Safety & Standards

  • Protection against over-/undervoltage, reverse polarity, and overtemperature; self-resetting fuses for reliable continuous operation even after faults.

  • CE-compliant, tested to all relevant EMC and safety standards under EU regulations in an accredited external lab.

  • Operating temperature: –20 °C to +80 °C.

  • Supply voltage: 9–36 V DC.

Updates & Future-Proofing

  • Firmware updates via dashboard: Offline by file upload (drag & drop), in the future also online via OTA pull.

  • WiFi is only activated for updates; otherwise kept off to save energy.
