Tank levels, temperatures, pressure: what Fluidy Pro measures
Fluidy Pro looks after the water in your camper: how full up to 4 tanks are, up to 5 temperatures, the pressure in the water pipe and whether water is leaking anywhere. You see all values as widgets in the dashboard and on the SmartKnob.
What Fluidy Pro measures
- Tank levels: 4 inputs, one per tank, for example fresh, grey and black water plus one in reserve. Measuring is done with level sensors from the Camper Jarvis shop, which hang in the tank and measure the water pressure at the bottom. They are typically accurate to 1%, based on the whole measuring range. Setup in the dashboard guides you step by step, and you do not have to calculate anything.
- Temperatures: up to 5 sensors on one shared cable, which may be no longer than 3m in total. Accuracy 0.5°C. Typical measuring points are the boiler, the heating circuit and the fresh water tank.
- Water pressure: a dedicated connection for the pressure sensor, which sits behind the fresh water pump. It shows whether the pump is running and notices when the pressure keeps dropping, for example because a fitting is leaking and the pump keeps starting up.
- Leaks: a dedicated connection for one or more leak cables.
Important: Fluidy Pro comes without sensors. You order level sensors, temperature sensors, the water pressure sensor and leak cables separately in the Camper Jarvis shop.
Frost protection: if there is a risk of frost, the pressure sensor and level sensors must be completely free of water. If water freezes in the sensor, it is permanently damaged. When you put the vehicle into storage, drain the tanks and empty the fresh water system.
How to install the sensors: Installing the water level sensor, Installing temperature sensors and Installing the water pressure sensor and leak cable.
