Air conditioning without a remote

Thermy speaks the language of modern roof air conditioners with a data port, for example the Dometic FreshJet. You set the target temperature, choose the operating mode and always see what the unit is doing. The little remote that is always everywhere except where you need it can stay in the drawer.

A fridge that thinks ahead

Thermy also connects modern fridges with a data port. You switch it on and off on the SmartKnob and get faults in plain words instead of decoding blink codes. With a RuuviTag in the fridge, you also see the temperature there and set it. Then Thermy can also lower the cooling at night so the compressor starts less often and you sleep in peace. RuuviTag support is coming soon.

Cooling with solar power

When the battery is full and the sun keeps shining, your fridge uses the surplus to pre-cool a little deeper. That saves power in the evening and keeps the compressor quiet for longer. This needs Volty for the battery data, the Solar Plus add-on licence and a RuuviTag in the fridge.

Comfortable on autopilot

Link Thermy to your scenes and schedules: pre-cool in the afternoon, switch to quiet night mode at bedtime or only run the air conditioner while shore power is connected. You can still control everything by hand at any time.

Plug and play instead of hunting for adapters

Thermy plugs straight into your device with a matching adapter cable and takes its power from there too. No extra power cable needed. Then pair Thermy with the SmartKnob, done. We sort out which cable fits your air conditioner or fridge together with you when you send your request. If your device is not listed yet, just ask us, we keep adding brands.

Climate with Thermy, heating with Heaty

Thermy takes care of air conditioner and fridge. For the parking heater there is Heaty, which is technically built on the same module. On the SmartKnob and in the dashboard everything ends up together in one place.

Find faults instead of hunting for them

Thermy has built-in self-diagnostics. They remember technical events such as voltage dips, restarts or excessive temperature, even across a power cut. If something ever goes wrong, your dealer or our support sees the cause straight away instead of searching for it. That saves guesswork, back-and-forth and often a workshop visit. The self-diagnostics know how the device is doing, not what you are doing: they hold no personal data at all.

Part of the Camper Jarvis system

Thermy connects wirelessly and encrypted to the SmartKnob, with no dedicated control wire and no cloud. It is developed to the processes of the automotive industry (Automotive SPICE), CE compliant and tested in accredited laboratories. New features arrive by update, automatically over the internet or by file from our firmware page.
