Handover: recording the actual state of the configuration

Updated 9 October 2026

For van converters and specialist workshops, the built-in self-diagnosis of Camper Jarvis is more than troubleshooting. It makes the handover traceable and later questions quick to answer.

Actual state at handover

Right after installation, record how the system was handed over: configuration, stable supply voltage, no restarts and all modules connected. This belongs in the handover report. You check later questions against this starting state instead of guessing whether anything has changed since the handover.

Remote diagnosis instead of a workshop appointment

If a customer gets in touch, you see the cause before the vehicle arrives in your yard. Voltage drops, restarts due to undervoltage or a fuse that always trips on the same channel point to the installation. This saves trips and discussions.

Clear decisions on complaints

Operating hours, voltage extremes, overcurrent and temperature peaks are stored permanently. So you can quickly tell whether installation, a third-party device, operation or a genuine defect is behind it.

Experience for the next series

Diagnostic data from several vehicles shows whether an issue is linked to a floor plan, a cable route or a third-party device.
