Compatibility: air conditioners, fridges and roof fans with Camper Jarvis
Air conditioner, fridge, roof fan: this page shows which of these devices you can control with Camper Jarvis. The list shows what already works today and what we are working on right now. It keeps growing, because we are constantly adding new devices.
As of October 2026
How to read the list
- Supported: works today, you can use it straight away.
- Beta: already works, but we are still testing and extending it.
- In progress: the integration is being developed and cannot be used yet.
Air conditioners and fridges with their own data interface are controlled by Thermy. Thermy talks to the device directly through its interface instead of just switching its power on and off. Devices without an interface are switched with Ampy or Switchy. Which module is meant for what is shown in Which module does what: the overview.
Air conditioners
| Manufacturer | Model/series | Status | Via | What works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Truma | Aventa 2.G (Compact 2.G, Compact Plus 2.G, Comfort 2.G) with iNet X Interface | In progress | Heaty on the iNet X Interface | Connected to the same iNet X Interface as the Truma heater. The Truma control panel stays installed. |
| Eberspächer | Breezonic roof air conditioner | In progress | Thermy | Integration via RV-C |
| Dometic | FreshJet (FJX) | In progress | Thermy | Integration via CAN |
Older Aventa or Saphir models are connected differently. In that case, ask us before you buy.
Fridges
| Manufacturer | Model/series | Status | Via | What works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dometic | Compressor fridges with CI bus | In progress | Thermy | We check absorption fridges case by case, many of them also have a CI bus. |
| Thetford | N4170A (N4000 series), TR1065 | In progress | Thermy | Integration via CI bus, not for models with a battery pack |
| Vitrifrigo | Fridges | In progress | Thermy | Integration planned |
| All manufacturers | 12V and 24V fridges without a data interface | Supported | Ampy or Switchy | On and off. With Ampy you also see the consumption and protect the fridge electronically. |
| All manufacturers | Cooling with surplus solar power | In progress | Switchy or Thermy, plus a RuuviTag in the fridge | When the battery is full and the sun keeps delivering, the fridge pre-cools a little further. In the evening the compressor then starts less often. |
Good to know: fridge manufacturers do not transmit the temperature inside the fridge through their interface. So that Camper Jarvis knows the fridge temperature, a small wireless sensor, a RuuviTag, goes into the fridge. Support for RuuviTag is in progress.
Roof fans and fans
| Manufacturer | Model/series | Status | Via | What works |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MaxxFan | Deluxe Compact | In progress | to be confirmed | Integration via the connector for the external control panel |
| All manufacturers | 12V and 24V fans without a data interface, for example a separating toilet fan | Supported | Ampy or Switchy | On and off, automatically if you like, as soon as someone is in the vehicle |
Tip for your build: planning a MaxxFan? Lay a shielded data cable from the roof hatch down right away during your build. The fan interferes strongly with unshielded cables, and this way you will not have to get back up to the roof hatch later.
No guarantee is given for this information. The range of functions may differ depending on device generation, year of manufacture and interface.
